There's a reason this place is always crowded...
Reviewed by lokomakai, 2009-06-05 The food just taste good. Beautifully prepared without being too fancy. The service was very attentive and the atmosphere was very high energy. The restaurant location is in the middle of the Kihei tourist trap, once you get through the traffic, sunburned tourists and the maze of shops you will be rewarded.

Excellent diner
Reviewed by timbo, 2007-08-10 We travel to Maui each year and this is now a two night dining place for us on each trip. I love the sashimi Tuna it is more than you expect and cooked to perfection. Sushi is above par but the wait sometimes is bothersome. Reasonable prices great service and staff, better then most upscale restaurants on the Island I have visited.

From a fairly sophisticated wine list, I chose a King Estate Pinot Gris
by the glass. The extensive sushi menu grabbed our attention right
away; we chose a Red Dragon roll of spicy tuna and avocado which didn’t
disappoint us. On our server’s recommendation, we tried the Manoa
Lettuce Wrap. Butter lettuce leaves are ready to wrap around a blend of
chicken tossed with water chestnuts, ginger, and a hoisin sauce that I
found overwhelmingly sweet.
