A meal for the family
Reviewed by a.local.review, 2010-01-24 I know that visiting Maui can be an expensive ordeal with choices on where to eat. With that being said, let me tell you from a local who has to deal with this on a day to day basis,This is not 'fast food' fair.
We asked for the meal to be delivered, and it was not a 'Maui time" delivery. It was delivered within 30 minutes on a Friday dinner rush hour. Three main dishes and one starter. It was enough to feed a family of four! The egg fried rice was tasty and not overbearing with soy. A great side for any main dish. The sweet and sour pork was filled with more meat that veggies, yet the veggies were thick and fresh. Sauce on the side is the way to go, if not the norm. Eggrolls were not greasy and full of flavor. The Chow mein had large noodles which is the norm on the islands. The sauces were fresh and inviting to compliment the meal.
All in all, the Cina Bowl is a wise choice either from the view of a lunch snack or to feed the whole family after the beach, yet not losing any of the taste that you would expect from a fine dining experience.
I give this place a thumbs up to any and all that are wanting to fufill the craving of Chinese.
Side note: $32.98 fed a family of four.
Aloha and I hope you get to enjoy!
