I wouldn't say the Cool Cat is anything other than average. Just another overpriced hamburger joint that happens to be on the second floor, overlooking the street.

Very overpriced for what you get. A burger on toasted white pullman bread?
$13 for 2 taco's with burnt, salty fishy and cabbage. No garnish, no side nothing. Just 2-8" tortilla's with fish and cabbage.
Very poor service. Restaurant had 7 tables occupied, so busy was not the reason.
Unprofessional staff - asked to speak to a manager and a pierced lip, braless woman responds who told me "thats how we do it on Maui and if you don't like it, don't go out to eat".

They charged 17% gratuity to our tab for 3 guests. If I hadn't caught it, we would have tipped twice.

Cool Cat has wonderful 2nd floor location, in the Wharf Cinemas complex on Front Street. The burgers are OK, but not the best on Maui. The burgers we had was dry & tasteless. We had to add lots of ketchup & mustard, just to make the burgers taste OK. Come to Cool Cat's for the Front Street vibe, not the burgers...
