Roys08-07Cvr.jpgThe Hawaiian Islands are an eclectic and harmonious blending of Pacific, Asian, and European influences. Chef Roy Yamaguchi has managed to capture this unique heritage with his inventive Hawaiian Fusion cuisine, creating masterpieces of flavor. Using only the freshest ingredients – usually grown or caught right here in the islands – Roy continuously re-imagines the flavors of the islands with exotic combinations of European sauces and styles, bold Asian spices and artful presentation.

Although the Roy’s restaurant group has grown to over 30 locations worldwide, it all began in Hawaii and the influence of the islands can be seen in every dish.

As soon as guests enter its door, a night at Roy’s is a night to remember. From the amazing aroma, intriguing spices and sauces to the lively chatter coming from the open kitchen, Roy’s bold vision of a complete dining experience comes to life. The friendly staff treats guests as members of the family and are always happy to share their culinary knowledge. Their expertise helps in navigating the award-winning wine list and by accurately describing the complex flavors of particular dishes.

This one's my favorite!

True, there's no ocean view, but the food and the over the top service more than make up for this. My husband and I have eaten at Roy's in Kihei a number of times and have yet to be disappointed. And, for those of you who are a little nervous about trying fancy, "Pacific Fusion cuisine", then just stick with Roy's meat loaf. I actually got the recipe for this one. My personal favorite though was when I ordered Roy's set menu. Everything was perfect.
