Tropical Drinks of Paradise
Good food isn't the only thing you'll find at these fine restaurants. Here are just a few of their exotic specialties.

Chocolate Monkey
Restaurant: Maui Brewing Co.
For a tasty tropical treat you’ll go ape over, try this liquored version of the frozen chocolate-covered banana. Start by lining a tall, curvy Hurricane glass with Ghirardelli chocolate syrup. Then blend two counts of Kahlua with one count of banana liquor, fresh banana, and vanilla ice cream, and pour into glass. Garnish with a fresh pineapple slice and an umbrella. It’s like dessert!

Lava Flow
Restaurant: Longhi’s
Delicious, creamy and lovely to behold, the Lava Flow is often thought of as a Pina Colada with a strawberry swirl. Just mix an ounce and a half of Bacardi Lite rum with an ounce each of coconut milk and pineapple juice, along with a half-ounce of cream and a scoop of ice, then blend and pour into a bucket glass. Add a splash of strawberry puree, garnish with a fresh pineapple slice, and enjoy.

Kihei Cooler
Restaurant: South Shore Tiki Lounge
This is a smooth, slightly tangy, not-too-sweet tropical drink to enjoy in the hip, tikified surroundings of the Tiki Lounge. Take two parts vodka to three parts lemonade, top with one part Hypnotiq as a floater. Serve in a large tiki-face glass mug, garnish with a lemon wedge and relax.

Pineapple Mojito
Restaurant: Tommy Bahama’s
Tommy Bahama’s features a wide range of made-to-order mojitos, from traditional to more creative combinations. To enjoy this tropical drink Maui-style, just take a handful of fresh mint leaves, add two fresh pineapple wedges, and then muddle in a tall glass filled with ice. Add three ounces of Cruzan pineapple rum, and a splash each of lime juice and syrup. Shake, top with Sprite, and serve in a pint glass. Garnish with lime and a sugarcane stick.

Napili Kai Punch
Restaurant: The Sea House Restaurant
An elegant take on the classic Mai Tai. Simply mix Bacardi Lite rum with our special passion-orange juice, pour into a bucket glass with ice, and top with a Kahana dark rum float. Serve it with a slice of sweet Maui Gold pineapple and a fresh Hawaiian-grown orchid. A delicious tropical drink to match the beautiful sunsets seen from the Whale Watcher’s Bar at the Sea House Restaurant.

Mango Maggie
Restaurant: Spago’s
Nothing quenches the thirst like a refreshing and festive mango margarita. Spago’s special Mango Maggie cocktail features Patron Silver tequila, Patron Citronage, mango puree, and fresh sweet-and-sour mix, blended and served in an old-fashioned glass, with an orchid and lime wedge. An island-appropriate end to a fun day in the sun.
